How do I start the interior design process with àesthetik design studio?

Starting your design journey with me is easy! Simply reach out via email or through my website to schedule a complimentary alignment call. From there, I’ll book your design brief consultation, where we’ll explore your design preferences, lifestyle needs, timeline, and budget. I’ll also assess the space to fully understand the scope of work before securing your project on my workflow calendar.

Where are you located?

Based on the picturesque Gold Coast of Australia, I am centrally located to serve clients from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, down to the majestic Byron Bay. I also offer e-design services, allowing me to design for clients Australia-wide, no matter where you're located.

At what stage should I engage you in my project?

It’s best to engage me as early as possible. A well-designed home takes time, so factor me in at least 3-6 months ahead of when you would like construction to start. However, It’s never too late to engage aesthetik design studio, even if you’ve already started your project. While it’s ideal to involve an interior designer from the beginning, I can assist at any stage to provide valuable design expertise.

Absolutely! Your input is invaluable. I believe in a collaborative approach. I will work closely with you to understand your preferences, lifestyle, and vision. I’ll incorporate your ideas and aspirations into the design to create a space that reflects your unique style and personality.

What is the difference between interior design and interior decorating

Interior design involves planning and designing the layout, functionality, and aesthetics of a space. It focuses on the overall design concept, colour and materials palette and the selection of finishes and fixtures required to build a home.

Interior decorating is the process of enhancing a space through the selection of furniture, soft furnishings, art, rugs, lighting and decorative elements. It’s like adding the final touches to a space that has already been designed.

I don’t need full service interior design, do you offer new build selections or single room makeovers etc?

Absolutely! I understand that not every project requires full-service design. Whether you need assistance with new build selections—such as finishes, fixtures, and colour palettes, you're looking to revitalise a single room, or need help with a specific area, I can provide tailored design solutions to transform any space, no matter the size to meet your needs. I am not local to you, do you offer e-design?

Certainly! I can offer E-Design services for clients regardless of location within Australia. My E-Design process allows me to collaborate virtually, providing you with customised design concepts, detailed plans, and expert guidance—all tailored to your space and style. I ensure a seamless experience, from concept to completion, so you can achieve the look you desire without being local. Please reach out if this is something you are interested in.

How do you price your services?

My pricing is tailored to each project. After our initial project brief consultation, I’ll have a clear understanding of your needs. From there, I’ll determine the scope of work and the estimated hours required. This allows me to provide a bespoke pricing structure, ensuring that each project receives the personalised attention it deserves.

I don’t live in australia, do you offer your services internationally?

Although I’d love too, Unfortunately I don’t at this time.

How does your trade discounts work?

I am lucky enough to partner with my favourite brands, When a trade discount is available for the pieces that are selected, I will always ensure you pay below the retail price. VIEW SOME OF MY FAVOURITE BRANDS HERE.

How long will my project take?

All projects are scope-dependent, which can influence the timeframe, generally it takes anywhere from 3 months to 2 years to complete the design process for a design project. After our project brief consultation, I’ll have a clearer understanding of your needs and will provide you with an estimated timeline. It’s also important to keep in mind that unexpected factors can arise that may impact the process, but I’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

Do you project manage the build and have contractors that you work with?

No, I don’t have an in-house Contractor list, but I’m more than happy to collaborate with your preferred trades and contractors. I will undertake regular site visits as required and work with your builder to ensure the design details are executed as well as advising on any variations needed.

Do you offer commercial design?
